Welcome to our FAQ’s page!
We’ve listed out some frequently asked questions below. If you have a question that isn’t listed, or if you would rather speak to someone about your questions just reach out to us. You can call us with all of your questions.
Child training and discipline is handled with kindness and understanding, but with firmness. Proverbs 12:1 says “If you love learning, you love the discipline that goes with it – how shortsighted to refuse correction.” Kiddie Prep School staff is trained in the practice of Conscious Discipline created by Dr. Becky Bailey. Teachers are equipped to integrate social-emotional learning discipline and self-regulation so they can spend less time policing behavior and more time teaching vital life skills.
We love celebrating birthdays and special events. All food/treats MUST be store bought and contained in the original store container showing the ingredients. There are several children with severe allergies and we want to keep all children safe. NO decorations please unless your child’s teacher asks you to bring them in for celebration days.
Parents are always welcome, we have an open door policy. Parents may also observe children using the classroom monitoring system in the office, if they wish to go unnoticed by their child
Children will be sent home for the following conditions:

The giving or application of medication, providing dietary supplements, making special variation of diet, and carrying out medical procedure, shall be done only on a written order or prescription from a physician to the parents, or to the school with the knowledge of the parents.
Medications prescribed for an individual child shall be kept in the original container bearing the original pharmacy label showing the prescription number, date filled, physician’s name, directions for use, and the child’s name. When the medication is no longer needed, medication shall be returned to the parents or destroyed.
Parents need to fill out a “Medication Form” available under the “forms” tab or available in each classroom through the teacher. The completed form should be given to the classroom teacher along with the medication and dosing spoon.
Kiddie Prep School uses Tuition Express where a card or bank account is put on file and batched on Friday after statements are posted on Monday. A payer has all week to pay in a different way if they so choose. Kiddie Prep accepts all major credit cards, checks, money orders, or online bill payments. Please NO CASH. There is a service charge for any returned check
Tuition is posted on Monday of each week. The card placed on file will be automatically charged every Friday for that week’s tuition. A payer has all week to pay a different way if they so choose, and the remaining balance will be batched from the card/account on file on Friday. Failure to pay tuition fees for two consecutive weeks will cause the child to be disenrolled.
Parents may pay for two or three weeks at a time, if paying in advance.
There is a yearly registration fee for preschool of $50.00. This fee covers curriculum costs, as well as classroom supplies. The fee is charged prior to enrollment and every September 1st.
